Saddle fitters in Kent - who to go for...? And CAIR?

Right, I am after an Bates or Wintec Isabell Werth or Ideal roella dressage saddle and would like to part exchange my albion saddle in the process. (thats assuming they fit my horse well) Who's the best to go for? I am in the Maidstone area.

I rang saddleworld (Ken Lyndon-Dykes) as they were selling my albion and they hadn't even heard of the ideal roella so am staying clear of them.

Have heard mixed reviews about clive bending and andrew reilly but those are the ones people always seem to recommend.

Zoon has a wow jumping saddle so never dealt with a "normal" saddle fitter! Unfortunately the wow dressage saddles just aren't right for me so going back to the normal saddles for dressage.

Also, what does everyone think of CAIR? Since the WOW is a flair saddle I was wondering if it'd be good, but not sure as you can't adjust it like a flair or flocked saddle.

Clive is a star he fits all my saddles and wouldnt use anyone else after a certain saddler ballsed up my horses back by missing a broken tree!

The roella is the same as my suzannah but with a narrower twist for petite riders - i dont fit that catagory and would prob need the saddle surgically removed lol.

I personally dont like air filled saddles and every chiro and physio i have had has said they dont like them either but not had any personal experience with them.

I hope you find one you like - if not then its looking like my suzannah will be up for grabs after xmas as my new girl will grow out of it soon sadly.

The Saddle Workshop is fab!!

Although, I did have Ken and my horse has only bronced once and that was after he fitted him . Down to personal reasons but I would request either Nicola or Charlie.

The roella was recommended as I am a short ass and the narrower twist will mean my legs will actually come past the saddle flaps!

Had a bates isabell saddle on one of my other horses as loved it (pity the horse was an [****]) so thought I might try that as well.

Does clive take saddles in as part ex?

didnt have a great exp with clive - managed to fit a saddle that left a horse with a pressure sore on his withers. Have been using a lady called margeret newing. She works independently and also through saddleworld - really clear ,takes the whole horse into account and I was generally really impressed with her
