Arghhh! Always one thing after another with horses. This is a selfish ramble tbh!
My boy hasn't been right for around the last month, rearing etc. (I posted about this!) Had his teeth done, nothing wrong there. Got the physio out and he was pretty sore in some areas and he thinks its the saddle.
Pleased I found out what it is early on and we can work on that. I will only use 2 saddlers and I trust them completetly. Neither of them can come for a month!! Whattt?! So my boy is going to have to be off for a month :(

Any idea's other than lunging/long reining I can do with him.

Sorry for the ramble!

There is a really good book by Oliver Hillberger about exercises you can do in hand to help build up the horses back muscles, improve flexibility and suppleness etc. Worth a try maybe?

I have that book & can thoroughly recommend it. I bought it a few months ago to have something to work on with my baby. There is a lot in the book that I will keep using. I also have 101 Horsemanship Exercises by Rio Barrett, again really would recommend this too.
Good luck, but most of all have fun:)

Ride him bareback, brilliant for you and good for his back too, your bum massages his back while you ride. And you have to remain balanced or you fall off. It will make you feel exactly how he is moving and how level or otherwise you are
