Another view on this - saddle fitting isn't an exact science (I'm sure we've all known something that goes better in the saddle that absolutely doesn't fit) and I think as owners, when sonething goes wrong, we're more likely to move straight on to a new fitter rather than build a relationship and talk through issues.
Of course this isn't universal - some saddlers are just rubbish, and some are just impossible to talk to - but it's more common than not that we find a saddle doesn't fit, and go on to a new saddler instead of working through it with the old one... we need to build relationships with saddlers just as we do with farrier, vets and instructors.
