saddle for haflinger

I've got a Thorowgood Cob Plus saddle for my short-backed haflinger which my saddler says it's not quite right for him - the tree is too flat for his back so it presses too hard under the cantle. However, he's really happy wearing it and goes much better in it than in any other saddle I've tried. I suspect this is because it has a hooped tree and his shoulders are completely unrestricted. Can anyone suggest a similar saddle with a less flat tree?

If you are in the south east you could try Spragg Saddlery in Surrey as they specialise in making for Haflingers and other wide breeds. They have a website. My friend had one made for her very wide connemara and loved it.

Barnsby do a saddle especially for Haflingers also they have different trees that they can build saddles on to suit, worth a try, they were fab when I got mine from them
