I rode my friends new connie last night and I am in love with the saddle it came with so I want to get one for myself however I can't find it! It's stamped as a Silhouette but I've checked on their website and it's not on there. I have emailed as well but wondering if anyone has either seen it before or knows of a similar one. I've attached a couple of badly taken pictures as the only similar ones i can find have a round back and this one looks a bit more squared off.. It looks very similar to the Black Country Poppy! Any help finding this one or recommendations for other similar saddles greatly appreciated (without the BC pricetag!) My current saddle is a silhouette and I like it but want something a bit smarter..

Where abouts are you? I know of a couple of Silhouette fitters based in Derbyshire that should be able to help you.

It looks like quite an old silhouette, hence why you probably can't find one on their website. But to be honest I find all silhouette's really comfy, my OH has a old GP and it's so comfy but likewise I have one of their new close contacts which is also great.

would be a waste of money if the saddle doesn't fit your horse? perhaps you should consult your saddle fitter before spending out on a saddle that potentially wont fit?

My plan was to find out what the saddle is or a similar one and then contact a couple of fitters to see if they have any to try, my fitter prefers me to tell her the style/shape of saddle i am looking for so she doesn't have to haul all of her stock out with her :)

Ah shame! My last two have been silhouettes and im quite happy with my current one but i rode in this one last night and it was great so was hopeful I could find one for myself!

But then she could bring a few saddles none of which suit your pony. Sure, she needs to know if you want a GP, a WH etc, but otherwise the fit on the horse is crucial, I always get photos of the pony to save me carrying unnecessary stock (and I travel and do overnight trips in a small van so have to be very careful!).
