I currently have a thorowgood T4 professionally fitted however I always feel perched and it just looks uncomfortable for the horse, any recommendations would be appreciated, he is a 15hh native.

I have just been looking for a saddle for my Welsh D and found that Black Country, Albion and Frank Baines fitted her best. In the end I bought a Frank Baines GP.

I have a T6 and T8 cob gp saddle for my two cobs :)

Both are native X's so wide and flat backed with little wither and the cob versions fit them both great :) Designed for flatter backed horses :)

I'm a fitter for Native Pony Saddles and am more than happy to answer any questions :). Cobs do vary in their fit - some need true hoop trees, some need neat trees, some can take a deeper seat, some need a very flat tree.
