I'm trying to organise my tack room/feedstore which is a secure brick outbuilding that is dry though gets a little damp in winter. The feedstore side is fine but I would like some ideas for saddle pads in particular. At present they are in a large plastic storage box but that generally means I only use the top 2 or 3. Anyone got any stylish but practical ways of storing pads? They can go back in plastic box during winter but it would just be nice and more convenient to have some out most of the time.

OMG that's a really simple solution. Having moved house not so long ago, I ran out of time and thinned out my wardrobe when we arrived! I now have a box of hangers of that type which I can put to good use. I can also indulge my OCD tendency and colour co-ordinate them :p. Off to source some rails now ......

I use these bags for storing rugs too . Pretty robust and ideal for sticking in loft . Gets them out of the way ,for £3 , can't be robbed. I always make sure to make a note of what rugs are stashed , or I'd forget all about them.
