Due to the girthing on my Wow I have been attaching my saddle pad (sheepskin 1/2 pad) straps to the D rings but I still and up with the pad slipping back by a good couple of inches.

Am I missing something? How do you get the pads to stay put? I'll be calling off at the saddlery at some point in the next week so suggestions welcome...

From experience it is very hard! Short d straps are better, wrapped round the d's twice and then done up.
Wow Saddles are great but finding a numnah to fit is a nightmare!
Griffin nuumed can make you one for a small extra charge. I never found any that actually fitted the panel otherwise. Saddle cloths are ok shape wise but they dont stay put

Hmmm, d straps don't actually do anything as too long on mine so that might be the problem?? Glad I'm not the only one with the problem!

Yes you need short d straps. Your local saddler could make some for you and re-stitch them to the pad.
Even the wow numnah slipped on mine

We have the same problem. Both my dressage and jump numnahs with short D straps slip backwards on the WOWs. My dressage numnah with normal straps is actually OK if I jam the straps high up between the panel and the flap.

I would highly recommend the Griffin Nuumed high wither pads, I have both the dressage square and the half pad, and neither budge at all.
