Saddle pads

Had both my saddles checked this week and fit well, however my mare has a very sensitive back and girth area. I use a sheepskin girth sleeve but was wondering about the best kind of saddle pad. I have borrowed a sheepskin pad, which has been brilliant but would like some views on the various pads out there before spending a lot of money possibly unwisely!!! Looking at memory foam, gel pads, sheepskin & foam. It doesn't need to be a front or rear riser as saddles do fit properly! Any views appreciated

a friend of mine uses the mark todd gel numnah, but i have found riding him that it is too bulky under the saddle and has caused it to pinch him as its so bulky.

If your saddle fits well putting a thick pad under will make it too narrow, you need it fitted wider to accommodate the pad under
