Saddle Problems!

I only recently had my saddle checked as my horse was bucking and didn't feel comforatble generally. I have a ' Wintec ' and i no have the white gullet witch is the widest one thing i hate is that it slips back she has started in canter just to ' slam her breaks on ?' if that makes sence and it isnt nice at all.
Please can someone recommend a ' good ' saddler in surrey ii want her to feel comfortable

Problem with wintecs and all saddles with adjustable gullets is you can adjust the front not the back so generally the saddle will pinch at the back if too wide at the front (not a saddler just from experience!). I can tell you to avoid bridlepaths with a bargepole - amazing in the east midlands - not in your area! But cant reccomend anyone - if you can find someone who will travel to west herts who are good please send them my way . Aldo I would just get the back looked over by a vet as badly fitting saddles that are causing behavioural issues especially can lead to a lot of soreness in the muscles and ligaments etc - a new saddle wouldnt help this!

Don't know any saddlers in Surrey but might be worth Googling Balance Saddles and see if there is a local fitter to you. They are good for wider horses.
