saddle seat size help please :)

i am 5ft 2inches tall, a size 8

most of my saddles are size 17 and theres loads of room, i also ride in my OH's 18" which is huge, im wondering if i should be in a 161/2"

ive been looking for a definitive size guide for saddle seat size and cant find one

i'm 5'4" about a size 10 and my saddle is 16.5.
however, my friend is about 5ft and size 4 and she's in a 17.5.

i think it depends on the make of saddle as much as the size of your bottom/length of your leg.

i rode in my YO's 17.5 and hated every second of it. x

i found one site describing how to measure the femur but it didnt seem to work out right..

i tried all that stuff, and i had a saddle fitter out... who told me to go for 17inch. but i feel like i sit better in my 16.5... it's only a cheap wintec though, i might be different in other saddles.x

I've always been taught that you should be able to fit a hands width in front and behind you when you are sitting in the saddle
