Saddle selling dilema and advice please

Trading Standards: you have been sold goods not fit for purpose. They will take the case and should take away any personal infighting.
The saddler is stupid, as you will have told anyone you know NOT to go to him!!! even IF he were right and you were wrong, as a matter of customer satisfaction HE should have resolved the issue.

Sorry you've had such a rotten experience and I know it's not rare. I do resent the comment that all saddle fitters are trying to get you to buy the most expensive saddle on the van. I hope that all good fitters work with the horse and the rider to find the best solution, whatever the cost. My saddles ALL go out on a 7 day trial and I recommend you all to only buy saddles on that basis wherever possible - it saves a LOT of heartache. If the saddle is wrong then it comes back - if you're good at your job and DON'T spend peoples' money needlessly then you get really good word of mouth - the best and cheapest waty to grow a business.
