Hi all,

My short backed wide section d needs a new saddle, firstly can anyone recommend a saddle fitter that comes to Bedfordshire?

Secondly I've seen a nice secondhand wow dressage club saddle for sale and just wanted peoples opinions and some info on the saddles.

Thanks

I have had a Wow professional dressage saddle for four years and wouldn't want to ride in anything other than a Wow. The difference between a club and professional is not vast and the essentials, like maximum capacity for the horse to use the full range and flexibility available to her/him, and to continue to make large/small alterations very easily depending on the horse's changing shape, is the same.

I've got a Wow club dressage saddled. Had my Jeffries dressage saddle converted to Flair first, horse and I got on with it so well I decided to treat us both to the Club.
Only advice I can give is make sure the seat fits you, the head plate and panels can be changed to get the saddle to fit the horse but best to get a proper wow fitter to do that or advise you on what you need as you may need different ones to what it comes with.
I'm in Northants and we have a great fitter who may travel to Bedford as you're not that far away. Pm me if you'd like her number.

Lorna Triggs fitted my Wow. She was very good. My horse is short backed too and fairly wide with hardly any wither and big shoulders. It's built as a 17" for him but with bigger panels for me. It's very comfy and horse goes well in it. It did take some getting to used to for me as I have not had one before.
