saddle sizes

I am going to get horse a new saddle, how do I know where to measure the old one, thats a good fit just very worn.
Had conflicting advise so am confused now!!!

Take the saddle to your saddler & ask them.

Just tell your saddler your horses breeding, height, age, build and a good saddler will make a very good guess and bring along a selection of saddles.
