Right so I’ve tried google and I’m just not getting the right answers
So been using my saddle since Jan, Faran sweats like he’s galloped miles just getting excited so the saddle has gotten sweaty before.
Went to the rideout on Tues was in the saddle for three hours, foot got broken but hey ho, anyways when I untacked him I noticed my nice turquoise saddle pad has big brown marks on it. Didn’t think anything of it, now I’ve washed his things and washed his tack and when I took the pad out the machine the marks are still there and I’m rather confused also disappointed I don’t want to over wash the pad, the sheepskin he’s been wearing hasn’t stained its just where the flaps have been pressed against the pad when the saddle has been on as normal.
Has anyone had this before on a saddle that’s been used for six months and hasn’t stained anything else before. Also if you have what removed the stains without taking out the colour of the pad?
