I'm currently debating selling my dressage saddle and getting something new (not desperate as have an event/jumping saddle I can use in the meantime).

However, I've now idea what sort of price mine would fetch or where to advertise. What do you reckon? It's a Harry Dabbs Elegant, 17.5in, MW, 2 years old-ish (certainly no more than 2.5 years as saddler I bought it from last year said it was 18 months old at the time). Near perfect condition. Black leather.

What sort of price should I be pitching it at / looking to accept for it? I wouldn't be in a rush to get rid quickly if I did sell it.

Thanks

About a year ago I was looking for a dressage saddle and my saddle fitter had a harry dabbs (think if was the elegant but not sure) really good condition 18" Medium fit and I think she wanted £650 for it.

She takes 1/4 if she sells a saddle for you - would there be someone in your area that does something similar.

There are a few saddlers around here who sell on 2nd hand but TBH I can probably sell it through a website like Saddles Direct and make more money than if a saddler sells it on (which sounds really mean, but you know what I mean).

Thanks for the reply
