Saddle with carbon fibre tree

I have the barnsby xtreem event saddle. I had a saddle fitter from barnsby out last week to check the fit. They said it was too wide for my horse and the tree can be adjusted by heating it.
I was wondering if anyone has had this done to their saddle not through barnsby? And how available it is?

I believe only Barnsby fitters can do the work, it is a very specific technology.
