Does anybody know good jumping or gp saddles/brands but not too expensive? I prefer leather saddles or leathery look synthetic ones. Do you know any good websites that sell saddles? Unfortunately in my country there are not any tack shops with good saddles, which doesn't give me the chance to try it on my horse.

Also, how do you check if a saddle fits on your horse' s shoulders?

Thank you

Kent and Masters saddles are lether and usually not badly priced comparing the price to other brands :D and I find them very comfy!! :)

Okay, wrote the folloiwing before I spotted where you are:

Unless you really know what you're doing, please use a saddle fitter! Some carry lots of second hand stock if you're on a budget, some like me are more limited to new saddles. Saddle fitting is an art and if you get it wrong you've not only wasted money on the saddle but you could also cause a lot of damage to your horse.

So, as you're in Cyprus, find a good fitter over here who would work from photos and tracings to find a saddle to send to you, or perhaps talk to someone like Saddles Direct who wil do the same and will sen dyou used saddles, usually 2-3 that might work for you to try. Read up as much as you can on saddle fitting - I have written a couple of articles on HorseHero dot com.
