hiya,
so i'm really having trouble finding the perfect size saddlecloth for my TBx. she's 15.2hh. at the moment i think she's in a cob saddlecloth [no label]..

i have ordered, in the past a pony saddlecloth from shires. too small..
pony/cob from shires again. too small.
cob/large from an ebay shop; too big!
and i've tried on a cob saddlecloth which is a little bit too big. so i'm really confused..
what would fit her best? =/

here's a piccie-

* i know her saddle looks weird i loosened her girth and fixed it after i took the photo :)

I always find shires a bit big anyway, John whittaker cob size is fairly normal that might be worth trying failing that can you measure your current one and go to your local tack shop to see if theres anything that size?

That looks too small to..i like to have a cm or so behind the saddle to eliminate any pressure points. If that is a cob i would get a full. My 15.3 Anglo Arab has a full

The would probably be fine a little further forward and pulled up under the saddle more. Tack her up with both all pulled up nicely ect then see what you think then

Ditto again :o :D

Pull it right forward and up into the gullet, you'll then have something that fits like this.....

Don't mean to be picky but have you had you saddle checked recently? Looks like its rising at the back!

The 'big' one looks to have slipped a bit in that pic but other than that I think that looks the better size. Its good to have the cms behind the saddle. The first pic looks too small.

oh yeah yours looks a really good fit.. and do you mean the first/second picture by rising? the first pic was taken last week, the second picture was taken in february

The 2nd piccy, it may be my eyes but the way the saddle cloth has risen of her back makes it look like the saddle might be rising as you rise......don't think I explained that very well

oh yeah we had it checked since the 2nd one [taken in feb] tbh she changes with her weight alot so she probably needs it checked again soon..the joy of horses..!! so should i order a "fullsize" then or a cob/full? cos the options on robinsons are generally pony/cob/fullsize or pony/cob, cob/full, or small/large.

I'd go for Full but I like them to have plenty of room, you may find that cob/full would be big enough for her :)
