Quick question for knowledgable types!

What colour saddlecloth should you use for RC area qualifiers team dressage at prelim level?

I normally just use white but we have a posh matching set of saddlecloths for the club in Blue and Burgundy.... could we use those or better sticking to white?

cheers m'dears xx

Might be wise to check your rule book because a lot of the RC rules mimic the BD rules and if so they prefer plain dark or white saddle clothes.

I always find that RC's are stricter re: turnout etc than any other equestrian organisation known to man! I'd stick to white saddlecloths-especially for dressage-much the smartest-prehaps you could get white ones with you RC's name embroidered on the side??

I would check rule book its almost always white
Good Luck

I compete at BD in a plain Black Saddle Cloth as my horse is Black it sets him off really nicely. I am planning to do RC area dressage in it. I have done all my riding Club events in it too.

yes i think riding club and pony club are always stricter ie, no piping on noseband or browband etc. [ QUOTE ]

pony club is terrible, my friend had a lovely 'bling' crystal browband and they made her cover it up with tape to do dressage

You never used to be allowed piping on Saddlecloths but you are now. Remember being made to turn a saddlecloth inside out because it had black piping on it!

I've just bought a white saddlecloth with club name and logo on it.....so think I'll trot off and buy a rule book
