i'm in lancashire- need to find a good saddler- but one which will take saddles as a part ex- i use katie topping normally but she only has new stuff in and have some saddles i need to get rid of

just a idea why dont you put them on ebay you may get more mooney for them than part x i know i have in the past.

As far as I know, Nigel is no longer fitting
and only used to do part ex if you were buying a new saddle.
I have bought and part ex'd a couple of saddles with Saddles Direct. She also works with the saddle fitter Hilary Cox, although you don't have to use her. The advantage of having Hilary is you can take your horse along to Arkenfield whilst she is there and get yourself sorted, rather than taking saddles away.

Keith at L for Leather his does part ex but only against another saddle which includes second hand too.
I have had about 7 new saddles off him over the past 10 years and he always gives me a great deal on my part ex's.
I am in Chorley and he comes out to me he does charge a call out fee though, it is £30.00 to Chorley.
