I'm having a lady called Karen Jarvis out on Thursday. Haven't had her before, but have only heard good things. She does all the above. Will report back after her visit!

I'm getting Ken from saddleworld out soon and will let you know how he is :) I normally have Derek from Benchley who is good

I recommend Clive Bending. He is very thorough so you need to leave plenty of time for a visit. He flocks, mends and sells saddles. I think he sometimes has second hand ones. He will also recommend ones that would fit so you can buy one elsewhere for him to fit. Does leather and synthetic.

I don't know if Chris Ghol would come as far down as Kent - but he might be worth a try. He us usually surrey / sussex. He's been doing my saddles for years and can usually find what you want second hand if you give him notice. But there can be quite a wait for him as he is very much in demand. PM me if you need his number.

As above, Clive is great. I wouldn't use anyone else, and there's several in that area that I wouldn't touch with a bargepole..!

Colin Shilling Saddles world. Can take some getting hold of due to some health issues, worth the wait.
Colin Schilling is brilliant and takes his time and knows what he is talking about. I have used him for over 12 years and never had a problem with a saddle. If you leave a message he will get back to you but it may take a few days so leave a bit of time.

Just to add that I had Karen Jarvis out today and she was superb. On time and super easy to get hold of. Has good stock of new and second hand saddles. Very thorough! Ended up selling me one of the cheapest second hand leather saddles as it fitted the horse best (doesn't try to force you to buy the most expensive! And doesn't adjust saddle unless actually needed) Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable - highly recommend!! She has a Facebook page. Karen Jarvis saddles.

I've used both Michael Uden and Clive Bending. Both very good. I also have used Sam Wiltshire but he's not easy to track down although is an excellent saddle fitter. I wouldn't use Karen as she used to work for Saddle rack and know more people who have had issues with their saddle fitting than have been happy with the saddles on their horses.
