My vet has just been up, my saddle completely just does not fit my horse, was going to get the saddler out again, her name is Doreen don't know if anyone has heard of her, well she fitted his saddle a year and half ago.
Just wondering if anyone can recommend any good saddler's? seemed to hear a lot of bad stories about most of them

Just been through the same saga with my horse.

Not heard of Doreen...but I'll keep that in mind as I'm now needing to get my horse's saddle checked extremely regularly.

Hayfield/Aberdeenshire Saddlery will come check it for you and many people at my yard highly rate them but they didnt notice some shifting of my saddle so dont know if I'll use them again

Other people who I hear good things about are Kay Hastilow (dont know if thats the right spelling) also Stirlingshire Saddlery (think I may use them nect time)

For Kay you'll need to get yourself to Loanhead though, she's there once a fortnight

Hope this helps

thanks i might try and get hold of Kay i have heard she is quite good, and loan head is easy to get to, just keep him along the road. A man at my yard has given me a roller with stirrups to ride in at the moment! My horse has been going fab!!
