A quick question - I'm in a panic!

My horse has had a few niggles with her back recently which my physio didn't think we're caused by the saddle and she is now riding really well. I hope physio signs her off , so to speak , this week.

Had saddler out tonight - saddle needs some alterations but after stating he wasn't a "back man" said my horse was sore in her back - ran his fingers along her spine and that she was tight.

Would you trust a saddler in such cases? I'm in a panic :(

I would trust my saddler I don't know yours .
I think the best thing would be a visit from a good equine vet with expertise in this area .

From past experience, I would trust my saddler.
She came out about 4 weeks after vet had been for jabs and routine back check and told me that the ID mare was uncomfortable in her back. I just said that vet had found that all was well. ID started bucking not long after that. Vet found muscle damage and treated with acupuncture.

My saddler has a background in equine massage, so yes I trust her... Although I am a body worker too, so I already know if my horse is sore and treat it as necessary.
In my experience, saddlers are pretty clued in when it comes to back pain and I would be getting someone out to look at the soft tissue in your horses back (physio, bowen, accupunture, etc)
