Saddlers who part ex in Hampshire/ Berkshire or best saddle sale website.

I have a Beautiful Harry Dabbs Dressage saddle which has only been used 4-5 times, but does not fit my new horse, does anyone know a saddler in my area who does part ex or can you suggest best website to advertise it on. I know i won't get anywhere near what it is worth on ebay, it looks as new, so I should be able to get £700 for it do you think?

She will do part exchange or take a saddle to sell for you and take a percentage or buy it outright depending on what you prefer. Generally you get more if you let her sell it.
When I was looking for a dressage saddle the 2 she had that fitted were a Kieffer and a Harry Dabbs.
If you advertise yourself you may not get as much but by the time you take away the percentage a saddler will take you could end up with more in your pocket.

And well worth trying advertising it on the British Dressage website - classified ads for saddles are free on there, with photos - andyou don't need to be a member of BD (and you do get the sort of viewers who would be looking for quality saddles and understand what they are worth)

Try Sue at Centell Saddlery at Hall Place EC nr Reading- she is a SMS qualified fitter and a terrific competitive dressage rider. She has sold a couple of very nice saddles for me, quickly and at good prices.
