Took my youngest in to get measured for a hat today. Old guy who does the measuring / fitting took one look at her and said "no".

WTF??

"her head will be too small for any of the hats we sell, and I'm not prepared to measure her incase you buy one off the internet".

WTF??????

The fact I have already measured her myself and she comes up at approxomately a 49, but took her to the shop to buy one fitted to her head shape and make sure it fitted properly surely speaks volumes??

I am hopping mad and now face a trek across the bl***y county to other tack shops to try and get one in the right size.

Has anyone else had this problem?

well, I went in and said "I'd like a hat fitting for my daughter, I think she's about 49 inches, but want to make sure she has one that fits properly". And he turned me away.

That's what i thought. They're champion stockists (stock nothing else) and I thought he'd at least see if they did anything small enough.
Looked online and found a stockist for C&O who do weeny (000) size hats so off to see them on saturday.
