Saddlery2u anyone used?

ordered and paid for a Bartl half pad on 16 june. Cheque has been cashed - they don't take pay pal. Had an email from them on the 28th to say it was on its way, then nothing. It hasn't arrived, I have emailed them twice and no response.

Has anyone used them and does their stuff eventually arrive?
 
There was a thread about Saddlery4u last week or so, you could check back a few pages or do a search using the search forum bit at the bottom of the page. Sorry to hear about your hassle.
 
I bought something off them a while ago when they had a different name - free spirits saddlery but since that they have used lots of name, saddlery4u and saddlery2u being a few.
I bought a half lined saddle cloth. They cashed the cheque but didnt send the goods. It took over 1 month from them cashing the cheque for me to get the goods after numerous emails to them.
I think Piebaldsparkle had problems with them. I think someone on her is taking them to trading standards too. Will go look for the threads....
 
horsegirl is taking them to Trading Standards as I pm'd her yesterday.

I am afraid to say dont hold out any hope of getting the item. Did she go for the Insured Postage? If so ask for the reference number, then that should arrive then, which wont work, then give it a couple of days and email them again giving them to the options below:
1] Repost the item and S4U claim back the money from the postal insurance
2] Refund me my money and S4U claim back the money from the postal insurance

Worked for me, thankfully I got my cash back, but darent leave any feedback what so ever.

if it is 4u then I have complained to trading standards and I am trying to encourage everyone else to do so too. Come one lets get these people prosecuted for the way they behave! Don't expect to get your goods and if you say you are going to comlain all you will get is "you do that". If you file an item not received dispute they will file a non payment dispute and get a non paying bidder strike put against you. If you leave them negative feedback they will leave you negative saying you did not pay even if you have proof. They are counting on the person asking ebay to remove their negative and Eaby then removes both lots of feedback so they don't get the negative either. Needless to say Ebay are rubbish
 
I ordered a bridle from them a while back, took them about 2 weeks to take the payment and didnt recieve the bridle till about 4 weeks later, didnt responed to my emails. Definatley will NEVER use them again.
 
Have you got any real bargains though or has it all ended up at nearly RRP? It always seems to be the items that finish for far less than RRP that have problems.
 
Yes I too have ordered and paid saddlery4u for an item, they cashed the payment a month ago and I never received a thing! I have left bad feedback along with about 20 others!!
