Getting a kent and masters jumping saddle and an isabell dressage saddle for my horse, who will be competing (PC eventing, sj, dressage, hunter trials, maybe BE) lots but no showing! The rest of his tack is black, and the isabell is black, so do i go for a black jumping saddle? he's a bay TB. i quite like the black, but is brown more traditional for jumping? thanks! :D

I prefer brown, but since you have everything else in black and aren't looking at showing then I would stick with black! Traditional seems to go out in window sj around here so I wouldn't worry about that.

I don't think there are any "rules" with regard to tack colour wth jumping, I've seen showjumpers at top level with all manner of colours of saddle including union jack! :D

I would have saddle and bridle to match, so if you have a black bridle then a black saddle regardless of what discipline (unless showing when brown is prefered but as you said you wont be showing this isnt a problem) :)
