Saddles Direct - anyone else having problems?

Has anyone sold a saddle to saddles direct and not been paid yet? PM if you would prefer.

I was about to sell a few of mine through them - I will be interested in your replies.

sprout - I'd hold fire if I were you. I'm owed money for two saddles and its coming forward that a lot are as well. I have had no replies to emails or phonecalls except promise of payment three weeks ago and nothing else since.

Speak as you find, and though the money did take a while longer than initially 'quoted', the cheque arrived eventually and there were no problems when cashing it. They were saying that they weren't taking any more after mine for a bit - credit crunch I was guessin.

O Gosh - i have just emailed them photos of my saddle as was hoping to PX for one of theirs. Maybe i will hold fire to see what others reply!

My money took a little longer than expected but it did arrive.

They do say that they dont pay for 28 days - as security against stolen saddles. Could that be it?

They have had my saddles for 6 weeks though :-( and one if mine is marked sold on their website.

I was looking to PX mine against one of mine til they offered me half the price i would get for it at another saddlers so told them that and left it at that after telling them theyd made a huge mistake and just lost a sale!
