As a total newbie I don't know if I'm allowed to ask this question but badly
need some advice:confused:

Saddles Direct - good, bad indifferent (from seller's point of view)

What do you mean from the seller's POV? I've bought saddles from them and traded one in with them as part-ex and they were great to deal with, no problems. The woman who owns it is very nice.

I've not sold any saddles to them but they gave reasonable quotes for selling on commission, though I ended up not bothering as my saddles sold privately.
 
From a prospective buyers point of view they were efficient, helpful and a pleasure to deal with, from that experience I wouldnt hesitate to take something to sell to them.
Stock is well laid out, saddles are in size order and CLEAN :D

ive used them and they are really helpful. i needed a 2nd hand saddle for my awkward size boy and they gave me a few to take away and try
 
I sold them a saddle. The price I got was maybe on the low side but they were great to deal with. They got back to my emails quickly and the payment went through quickly. I'd use them again :)

My experience was also excellent.
 
Not dealt with them personally but know plenty of people who have bought saddles from them and being pleased with service and saddles. I know that doesn't answer your question but looks like people are saying they've had good experiences with them which is a good starting point :)
 
I live not too far from them. I took 3 lots of 3 saddles to try on my mare. They were very good in advising and helping me choose and letting me try as many as I wanted. They had an excellent selection too.
 
Thanks everybody who posted - feel very reassured by all the positive comments. Will try a few local possibilities and if they don't work will be heading in their direction. Thanks once again - and having been a nervous forum watcher I'm really glad to have "climbed on board"!! Might even do it again:D
