Saddles for heavy horse

Hi,

Can I ask what saddles are you using on your Shire/Clydesdale crosses? My lad is either of the two, we are not sure and there is no breeding history on his passport. He is currently un-muscled and not wide, with a whither.

Before anyone starts the horse will be fitted appropriately, this is just a question to give me some ideas.

Custom made Silhouette saddle as found it hard to fit any of the standard models for her so it ended up as bits of various design to be comfortable. Also used a heather moffett Flex EE which worked well.

I had a saddle company saddle made to replace the ancient model that my 1st clydie brought with her. That saddle also fits my Westphalian Draft mare but she now has a Solution saddle which she prefers to any of the 4 saddles that she has worn in the last 5 yrs

Farrington WH on my Shire x cob who is not overly wide and has started to develop a wither. It will need a tweak as he grows on.
