Saddles for no-withered, barrel-ribbed arab/native type?Or glue?!

As my boy is off work, I have been very nicely given some horses to ride by new YO...mostly arabs..ok, and one anglo LOL. Problem is, canot seem to get a saddle to stay in place on the AA, just shoots forward. I am used to having mine slip back as my boy is a slab sided fit thing, but not used to be ending up on withers..
I have a wintec GP, wintec dressage and a leather dressage at my disposal. Obviously as stated this horse is not my own, just want ideas on how to keep saddle stiller. She is roly poly and unfit so the problem will go with work but in the interim any ideas?
Non slip pad?
variation on girthing?
Glue?

Not sure whether you have interchangeable gullets or not?-

Maybe you could try 1 fitting wider- sounds like the saddle is not sitting 'down' enough on the horses back so its not still- If the saddle is too narrow it won't look balanced on the horses back and the pommel will sit too high at the withers.

I have a part arab ( my old SJ pony) and she used to have the same problem - we put her in a wide fit VSD as she has an upright shoulder and no withers! this suited her well.

I also meant to add you could also try using the point strap on the girth as well as it will keep the saddle more secure. I'm not sure what girthing arrangements the wintec saddles have though I must admit!!
 
I have a native pony shaped like a barrel, and NEVER kept the saddle still. I found Limpet numnah helped a bit. Also very tight girth (poor pony...) I also used a treeless saddle on her which was better as long as I could get someone else to tighten the girth when I was on board (it's a dressage girth). No amount of work changed her shape - it's the way she's made. I'm not riding her at the moment - she's busy having foals.
 
I have an Ideal H&C and it is brilliant. My saddler stitched a point strap on for me and I use a humane girth which has two straps set quite far apart. I just use an ordinary cotton numnah and haven't had any problems with the saddle slipping.
 
QR- thank you everyone! Ill take my humane girth and give that a try and also see if I can find a non stick pad locally. I think she is losing some weight around the withers ...I actually could see them earlier today! :P
