I am using one at the moment (although does not belong to me), its a Frank Baines Balance Zenith which was produced with Balance Saddles now BI I beleive, so a saddler told me.
Very good saddle and fits my lad beautifully (if your horse has big shoulders) the saddle has a wide gullet channel which is ideal for my lad as he is quite flat over his back has wide spine (there is a technical name for that but can't remember)
My only grudge is its not very light weight compaired to other leather saddles however they may of changed since the new ones have been made.
Thats interesting, thank you. I like the look of them and they seem to have put a lot of thought into the design to make sure they really fit and are comfortable for the horse.
Do you find it good to ride on - position of the stirrup bars, comfy seat etc?
I have just bought a Balance saddle for my youngster. (Second Balance saddle I have owned.) I was introduced to them by my riding instructor and think they are great. Not the cheapest of saddles but they hold their value extremely well. You can really feel the difference in the way your horse moves.

Ditto, they do position you slightly different to you average GP as they are more like a VSD type, but then you do get that with different makes anyway, you can feel the difference in the base of you back actually, the stirrup bars feel like they come back further as the pannels of the saddle seem to sit further back, so everything is further back (if that makes any sense) but all your weight is spread evenly which is how a saddle should fit anyway. Good quality leather that doesnt scratch or scrape easily but soft also.
