well buying a new saddle and wanted to know your recommenations for a light, GP, saddle ... leather or synthetic for a tb horse? i was looking at the thorowgood T6 saddles. thank you!

Hi i have a TB who measures M/W for saddles - she is fitted with a Jeffries Hawk Event and i love it, perfect alrounder saddle and armchair comfortable - not very light but good quality.
I had a Thorowgood Cob saddle for my connemara before and i really didnt like it. good luck!

Hmm I just got a new saddle 
well I have two just need to decide which to keep!
Depending on your budget if it was between synthetic saddles I would go for a thorowgood over wintec and also the new genesis synthetic saddles by GFS.
If you wanted leather I would have a look at GFS I have one now but have changed as my legs don't fit on to a Pessoa legacy xp3 or Albion k2 jump saddle
But for leather GFS is one of the cheapest quality leather saddles

My TB had a bates caprilli , gave excellent clearance on her highish withers and was super comfy for me

I like the Thorowgood T4 and T6 range, and also the Wintec 2000s. If your TB has high sharp withers, then you'll almost certainly find that the Thorowgood high-wither range will fit better than the Wintec.
