Saddles - Yorkshire

Throstlenest Saddlery at Silkstone Common, near Barnsley (about 10 minutes from the M1) and Hey Farm Saddlery on the edge of Huddersfield. Both have loads of saddles, and both do a fitting service.
 
Fox Saddlers in Wetherby usually have a load of 2nd hand and new saddles. Beavers in harrogate (as mentioned) are also very good but yes price wise quite often it just happens to be the most expensive saddle that fits 'perfectly'! hee hee. We used to box our horses up there for saddle fitting and you can try them out up there at the same time so it is quite handy.

Fox saddlers usually let us take a few at a time to try but then they know us so not sure if they'd do te same for everyone or not.
 
I got a lovely, well fitting and very comfortable saddle for my mare from a guy in Driglington. He comes out and does made to measure or tries what he has on him and alters. Very reasonable and has since fitted several more horses at my yard. PM if you want his number.

i would recommend throstlesnest saddlery aswell.
they havle loads and loads of saddles, but the prices can be a little high, but its worth it :P
they also have they're own saddle fitter, who's really good!! good luck finding a saddle! x
