Saddles!

My lovely Stubben jumping saddle is no good for Olympic any more

I can't seem to find a good saddle that has a nice big knee block and a thigh block which which actually sits right by your thigh (I have a saddle which is identical to the Ideal Springbok and the thigh block on that is miles away). Can anybody give me any suggestions on saddes? (I'm starting to tear my hair out!) or does anybody know if Stubben have changed the desgn of their trees?

Barnsby do some nice jump saddles, the APS tree one has nice big blocks, and is similar to the Stubben in design....?

When I used to showjump I got thru sooo many jumping saddles as my horse changed shape loads until he was 8!! I used to have the Amerigo Pinerolo close contact jump saddle which was really nice and was my favourite. Also the Stubben Eidelweiss was ok but I didn't find it so comfortable. I must admit my own preference is not for Albion saddles, however their K2 Jump saddle had really big blocks and was secure, you might like that?.

Also had a Harry Dabbs Original AO which is a flatter saddle but was quite nice. The Jefferies jumping saddles look really nice as well with big blocks.

I love the look of the Harry Dabbs and Jaguar stuff but I can't see any jump saddles with close thigh blocks

My Lovett & Ricketts dressage saddle is made of some sort of waxy leather so your legs are almost stuck to the side of it. Its absolutely awesome and I'm getting a jump saddle in the same make. I don't know if you have to have them made in this special leather - bought the dressage saddle second hand and I'm still working on getting the new one. I've never sat on anything like it for giving leg security and now I wouldn't have an ordinary saddle. Sticky saddles are the way forward!
