Saddles

I'm in the market for a new leather SJ saddle, but I'm not sure whether to get one with suede on the knee rolls/seat.

Has anyone any experience with this in general? I'm just concerned that they tend to be more expensive but it looks like the suede will rub away.

My friend has seude on her dressage saddle (albion) that has had now for 10 years and it is wearing fine.

I have deerskin on my dressage saddle as the saddler said wears even better than suede but it did cost a little more for this xx
