Safe and Sound, do you use it?

My old boy is now on a handful of this. He is lami prone, although not for 18 months now. If you feed it, any thoughts?

I have fed a lami prone welsh pony on this for about five years now and I think it is great. He is 12 hands and 31 years old and can no longer manage hay. He has 3 scoops a day as well as being out during the day and also has Hi Fi as hay replacer.
I also throwing a handful to a plump 3 year old which keeps him quiet!

Yupp I swear by it, I've had my last two lami prone boys on it. although one is on Devils claw too. But as for a feed I feed 3 big scoops a day.

I used Safe and Sound but when my feed merch sold out i had a bag of Spillers Happy Hoof and my horse loved it...we've been on it ever since.

My 2 1/2 yr old has been on it since about 8 months, only during Oct- March but has had a youngstock supplement with it in the past, is now on top spec lite too.

I began using it because I needed a feed with more in it than chaff that wasn't full of sugar and suitable for a fat baby!

I compared the bag of happy hoof to safe + sound and the s + s seemed better.

I feed Safe & Sound. I tried Happy Hoof but my boy wouldn't eat the nuts in it. I know of several other ponies who leave them.
