I have made the very sad decision to sell Syd as he doesnt instill me with the confidence I need. I was just wondering what your thoughts were on my finding a sane, sensible, confidence giving dressage schoolmaster. There must be some somewhere. I just need something I can get on and ride and enjoy myself. Please help

My boy was advertised recently and has gone on loan to a friend, there are horses out there just be open minded about age, people were very put off because he is 14, but its their loss, he won the restricted novice and was 2nd in the Elementary at Horseworld this week and has years i front of him.

Thanks so much for your replies I will post ad on BD What a good idea What a shame I missed out on you school master Yes I would consider any age It wouldnt bother me being older I just want something that wont take advantage of my nerves and that will give me loads of confidence I want to learn all the movements, it is a dream of mine.

Be patient they are out there, I waited over a year for my boy to turn up and he was well worth it :)

I second the advice to place a wanted advert, you can specify exactly what you want and save hours of reading :)

Good luck, he/she is out there somewhere!

The boy I have is now 20 so age hasn't put me off either, however sometimes he does think hes about 5! ;) x
