Safe to buy used grazing muzzles?

As the title says.
Would you buy aused grazing muzzle, un broken.
For cheap or would you opt for buying a brand new one.

My lad needs some weight off him and he does not respect his fencing so I am going to attempt to use a muzzle on him.

Opinions please thanks

I would think so- just give it a really good wash with disinfectant before you use it.

Yeah I would certainly would do that.

Seen them on ebay 2 for the bid (currently 1 pound) and 4 pound P&P but it doesn't have a size on and my lad is only 13.1 so has a fine face but for a fiver might be worth buying even if they don't fit.

Yeah i would but second hand, thinking of putting mine on Ebay and that is like new, i wouldn't be dissapointed if i won it, it just rubs my mare under the chin when she wears it.

depends on the condition. My mare gives hers alot of abuse because she hates it so I doubt it'd be worth much second hand. if its just that someone tried it on once and their horse managed to pull it off then I would have thought it'd be okay

I have decided against it as they didn't specify the size.
I have found a rather fetching pink one which is brand new instead lol.
