Hi all - been rather a long time since we posted.
I am looking at buying a small horsebox - probably a Bloomfields 4.5T. Very interested in safety.
Was looking at the stallion/professional boxes, which have no breastbar to go over and are rear facing. My only concern is that if you got tail ended, the horse would have no breastbar to stop it flying forwards.
My other question is how much does it add to safer to have a box that you can take the horse out the back in an emergency.
Bree is not very keen on travelling, but has never jumped around or shown any inclination to go over the breastbar, just want her as safe as possible.
