Is there an app for your phone that detects falls and location that can send alerts to family members? A lot of the time I'm alone at my yard and out hacking so would really give me peace of mind if I had something like this. Googled and looked through forum cant see anything :(

Uvex did some sort of tag you attach to your hat which alerts someone if you fall.

Just having a tracking app on your phone and asking someone to check in on it when you're riding is a fair idea.

It doesn’t address the ‘in case of a fall’ aspect, but on an iPhone you can share your location with selected contacts using the ‘Find My’ app. You can also share your location through WhatsApp with people, and set a time limit on it.

At my job we have an app called “people safe” I don’t know if it’s free but it is really good!!

We work in rural locations alone.

It has fall detection , shake detection and you can set a check in time so if you haven’t checked in by that time it raises an alert. For the alert they ring you to confirm if your ok and need any assistance (they have a fast track line to emergency services) - if they can’t get a hold they contact your emergency person ( or something along those lines)

I have recently started using 'my location ' on WhatsApp with appointed person(s). I've found it fairly effective but it does rely on signal and on one occasion had my location as 6 miles in the opposite direction to where I was! It gives me a bit more peace of mind with my newbie as I generally hack out alone. The other suggestions may be better?

I use Equilabs, you have to pay for Premium for the safety tracking, but I used Equilabs anyway so it made sense to me.
