What kinds of safety stirrups can be used in dressage? (I tried reading the rule book, but I could not find a section that was clear on what kinds I could use.)

The rules are set up to be very specific, I would say if it's not on this list then it's fine https://www.britishdressage.co.uk/media/1592/tack-and-equipment-booklet.pdf, so the only things not allowed are magnetic and rainbow metal stirrups. Otherwise they can be any colour (and I was certain of that from elsewhere, though did think that cage stirrups were prohibited except for para).

You probably need to ask this question on a US based forum. The vast majority of users here are in the UK and would be familiar with British Dressage rules (by that I mean the organisation not simply dressage in the UK). I believe the US has the USDF as its national dressage body and you would need to follow its rules, not BD's.

All the US forums seem sketchy to me. The USEF is very confusing for me!!!!!!!!!!! (not to mention EXTREAMLY hard on the wallet.) I think the bent ones are aloud though...
