I am looking at buying new safety stirrups for my daughter. I'm torn between Tech Venice and Jin Air safety stirrups. I like the look of the Jin Air as in theory they appear to release the foot from any angle but I can't find many reviews from people who have actually used them. I have read the H & H review and they score very well. Does anybody here have experience of them?

Not able to help with the ones you mentioned but I have Acavallo Arean Aluplus with the slight tread incline & I love them - great grip & dont open up unless they need to unlike some others I've read about.

I have the Jin airs, I love them, not needed to try the emergency exit yet though

I have just realised I have no pictures of them actually on the horse!

Bought my sdult daughter the tech venice evolution plus (have shock absorbers) She loves them and I can't say they come open all the time. Just saving up so I can have some too?

I have the Acavello Arena Allupro they are fab - really helped me keep my lower leg more stable and are so comfortable if you get sore joints! Can’t say I have tried Tech or Jin. edited to add: have not needed to use the safety mechanism yet ? And they look really smart ...

I have the Tech Venice stirrups and really like them. The shock absorbers make them really comfy and I feel that they have helped with lower leg stability. Fortunately I haven't had any issues with them opening up or clicking, and have found them a well made stirrup so far.

Glad you haven't had to try the exit yet! How rigid is the flexible side? Do you feel your foot would easily be released from any direction?

I can bend them with my hand but not easily. I think it will take a fall to bend it. I’ve found them stable, I had the original jins and I actually prefer these. They do snap back into position when we have been testing them by hand.

They are narrow, I’m a size 6.5 and have not much leeway on either side

Are they narrower than normal Jins? I didn't realise they did a safety version so would be interesting in swapping but not if they're going to be too narrow. Can I also ask what is it that makes you prefer these?

No, they’re the same Width.

Ive had 3 sets of Jins, dont ask. Loved the first, but the second the same still were just uncomfortable. Def on the right way. The airs were literally these are like the first ones.
