Just a little tip for those with zip up back protectors (in particular RP's) .... Make sure you tuck your zip in to its velcro cover and don't leave it hanging out!

My horse bucked this afternoon and it jabbed me in the chin so I tucked it in. I then fell off about 15 minutes later, and although I grazed my chin on the velcro, I realised how lucky I was not to get the zip through my chin instead!

Had to mention it, just incase it helps prevent another accident in the future :)

Ouch, hope you're ok :)

I don't have a cover for mine though

The RP has a velcro strip alongside the zip, which folds over the top. Therefore, if you do the velcro up but don't tuck the zip in it stands up! So I actually think it is because there is a protector that it could have happened.... if you see what I mean?

I'm ok thanks everybody, just a sore shoulder really!

Ooohh yeah I understand. Brain doesn't work well when I'm tired  :p

Glad to hear you're not too sore.
