Safety tips/ advice?

With all these messages about strangers looking at horses and random vans etc I was just wondering if anyone has any advice ie keeping your land/ stables secure? I have my horses freeze marked and my trailer and gates locked, is there anything else you would recomend?? xxx

I was worried the other day because one of my horses had been moved into a different field by someone overnight. Someone on here suggested locking headcollars etc away overnight which I think is a really good idea and am now doing. I have also wired the gates up the mains fencer!!!

If possible, put up security lights and cameras - even fake cameras would help deter thieves.
