Sorry not been on sooner, son hogged the computer doing coursework and thought it would be bad parenting to tell him this was more important.
Anyhow, picked madam up this afternoon, she came bouncing out with her tail wagging, and had apparently been a model patient. No problem with the op and the lumps came away cleanly and have now gone off for testing. I was quite chuffed because the nurse said "all your dogs have such lovely temperaments".
I had to persuade Saff she couldn't jump in the car, and once home she had a wee and then settled down in her bed. I spoiled her with some Nature Diet for her tea, thinking she might need tempting, she gulped the lot down and is now back fast asleep again. I expect she will be a little sore tomorrow, but I have a plentiful supply of metacam, and fingers crossed she will soon be back to normal.
