Sorry not been on sooner, son hogged the computer doing coursework and thought it would be bad parenting to tell him this was more important.:p
Anyhow, picked madam up this afternoon, she came bouncing out with her tail wagging, and had apparently been a model patient. No problem with the op and the lumps came away cleanly and have now gone off for testing. I was quite chuffed because the nurse said "all your dogs have such lovely temperaments". :) I had to persuade Saff she couldn't jump in the car, and once home she had a wee and then settled down in her bed. I spoiled her with some Nature Diet for her tea, thinking she might need tempting, she gulped the lot down and is now back fast asleep again. I expect she will be a little sore tomorrow, but I have a plentiful supply of metacam, and fingers crossed she will soon be back to normal.

Pleased it all went well and she is home and eating happily! Tis always a good sign when they are eating! :) Well providing they arent eating your shoes! That isnt a good sign!;):) That is a sign that you will need to buy new shoes! :D

Seriously, glad it went well and the worry is over. I always worry when mine have GAs.

Hopefully they have sorted out the problem.

Another thing for you to be proud of, compliments from a vet nurse about your dogs lovely temperament.

I hope Saffy heals quickly and that the test result is good.

She's bright as a button this morning, most indignant I wouldn't let her chase bunnies, good job I had her on lead.:D I checked the wounds this morning and look good so far, really neat, in fact I had to look hard to see the stitches. Fingers crossed she continues this well.

Phew - what a relief all went well.
GA's are a worry. Good girl saffy - now milk your recovery for all it's worth! Maybe you could give her a bell for when she needs more treats :D
