not sure if anyone is following my progress but after buying horsey from less than reputable dealer and not being able to get my horse happy in her mouth at all, we discovered that she loves to be ridden in a hackamore (violently shakes her head in any bit) anyway i got clare my osteo out yesterday for her and apparently mare has bad neck - about 4 inches down her mane from her poll she has an issue with a joint which has been causing her a lot of pain.. osteo reckons it will make her jaw tense and really uncomfortable for to be bitted and surprised she will work in an outline at all (hence why she has enough after 20 minutes and i fell her). this horse has so many issues but at least we are finding out about them all and conquering one by one! Fingers crossed this will help and we WILL be able to ride a dressage test one day!
