A lovely friend of mine has recently lost her happy hacker...she is heartbroken, but not down and out!
She will soon be looking for:
Gelding
15.3 to 16.2hh
7 to 9 yo (but negotiable with a younger horse if temperament is right)
ABSOLUTELY bombproof, no bucks/rears, vices.
Lady is 50 plus and needs to feel safe. She isn't a numpty by any means, but she has been there and done that, so would just like to be able to hit the ground running (not literally
) and be able to enjoy her new partner from day 1. She has gone through hell trying to get Jake sound, but she made the horrendously difficult decision to have him pts, and she really deserves to enjoy her horse from the off.
Goes without saying that horsey has to have no soundness issues. She can't go through all that again, although we all no nothing is guaranteed.
Said horsey will be used for long hacks, 5 days a week and would be spoilt to within an inch of its life!
Although not absolutely necessary, TB x types are her favourite, but again, temperament so much more important.
Thanks for reading - it would mean the world to me if we can fix her up, as she has been an absolute rock for me during difficult times and she deserves some happiness...she has lost her Dad, dog and horse in the space of 2 months, but still wants to help me with my youngster by bringing him in for me during the day when I'm at work, hosing his legs off and giving him a good brush!
She's a very special person, who is waiting to meet a very special horse.
